Madrona Nest was founded by Lydia Masombo and Emily Cearley, two experienced care professionals united by a vision for warm, highly personalized residential care.

Madrona Nest is designed for residents whose needs can be safely supported by one caregiver at a time. We are not able to accommodate residents who require two-person transfers or mechanical-lift transfers. Every prospective admission is considered individually.

Life at Madrona Nest is shaped around the people who live here—not an institutional schedule. Residents are encouraged to maintain familiar routines, participate in household life as they wish, and spend their days in ways that feel comfortable and meaningful.

A day might include a favorite breakfast, music, baking, gardening, a creative project, a nearby walk, a local outing, or quiet conversation around the kitchen table.

Space to Make Your Own

Madrona Nest is designed for four residents, with two private bedrooms and a shared master suite for two residents—ideally a couple. Residents in the master suite share a bathroom reserved for their use. Residents in the private bedrooms use the home’s main bathroom, which is also available to staff and visitors. Residents are encouraged to bring photographs, favorite bedding, artwork, and select furnishings that help their space feel familiar and personal.

Rates & What's Included

$450 per resident, per day

The daily rate includes room and board, around-the-clock caregiving and supervision, personalized assistance with daily activities, medication support, three meals and snacks, housekeeping, laundry, meaningful activities, and routine family communication.

A deposit equal to 30 days of care is required to reserve a room. Madrona Nest requires a minimum two-year private-pay commitment before Medicaid spend-down may be considered, subject to eligibility and availability.
